We must have one of the best public library system that offer services at little or no cost. For the traveller, most of travel guides in the market are under the library collection, but slightly date. A lot of people must have the similar thought as most travel guides are either on loan or in the reserve list.
Attempting to keep the cost of the trip low. I decided to get my travel guide from the public library. I must be in luck. I managed to loan the latest ediion of Let's Go (2005) and Footprint (2004).

Why Vietnam
Why Vietnam? I can answer how to get there, what to bring and possibly even where to go for a two weeks duration. But why travel to Vietnam is the more difficult question to answer.
Perhaps it is the least expected destination. Maybe I am just tired mentally. Maybe I just need to a timeout alone to think.
Somehow the charater in Colin Cheong's novel "Tangerine" came to my mind lately. The character travelled alone across Vietnam to reconnect with his friends. Through his journey, he learned to feel and empathise with people around him.
Maybe my real reason are not not too far off.
