Travel Insurance

I checked out a couple of major insurance companies such as AIG, AXA and NTUC Income that offer travel insurance. In particular NTUC Travel Insurance quoted an attractive low premium of $40 for 16-day trip to Vietnam as compared to the normal premium rate of $55 to $60. Only after reading the terms & conditions that I realized the coverage for medical evacuation require co-payment of 15% on the part of the insured. In addition, there is a deductibles for the first $40 incurred from Trip Cancellation, Loss/Damage of Baggage, Loss of Money. I finally settle on AIG.
