Lizzie was upset when I told her that I am travelling alone to Vietnam for two weeks. Moreover, I will not be back to spend Christmas with her. I guess just any girlfriends will be mad with their boyfriends if they made this decision that I did. Moreover, Christmas is always a big thing for Lizzie as she come from a traditional Catholic family.
Amid sadly she finally accept my decision. I guess secretly it don on her that it might do her and me some good that we take this time to think about our relationship. I know that that at some point during the trip, I will wish that she is on the road with me.
